Slideway Oil (SW5)
Podlee slideway oil is a specialized lubricant formulated for machine tool slideways and guideways, which are critical components in precision machining equipment. Unlike rotating spindles, slideways involve linear or reciprocating motion under varying loads and speeds. Effective slideway lubrication ensures smooth movement, minimizes friction-induced "stick-slip" (stuttering motion), and maintains positional accuracy in applications such as CNC machines, grinders, and milling equipment.
Application
Machine Tools: CNC lathes, milling machines, surface grinders.
Industrial Automation: Linear guides, robotic arms.
Heavy Machinery: Presses, hydraulic systems with sliding components.
Advantages
Superior oxidation stability and rust protection
Excellent film retention and adhesion capabilities
Effective anti-stick-slip and anti-skid performance
