Open Gear Oil (OG3)
Podlee open gear oil is a specialized lubricant designed for the protection and efficient operation of open gears, which are exposed to harsh environmental conditions and heavy loads. This type of oil typically has high viscosity and excellent adhesive properties to ensure it stays in place on gear surfaces, providing long-lasting lubrication. It often contains extreme pressure (EP) additives to prevent wear and tear, as well as anti-corrosion agents to protect against rust and oxidation. Open gear oil is commonly used in industries such as mining, cement production, and heavy machinery, where open gears are prevalent and require robust lubrication solutions.
