General Transform Oil (GT5)
Podlee general-purpose transformer oil, typically a highly refined mineral oil, is a dielectric insulating fluid designed to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical transformers and associated equipment. It serves dual roles as both an electrical insulator and a coolant, critical for maintaining transformer reliability and longevity.
Application
GT5 range transform oil is suitable for use as an insulating and thermal conductive medium in electrical equipment such as transformers, instrument transformers, and bushings; it is also applicable as an insulating and arc-quenching medium in oil circuit breakers.
Advantages
Excellent electrical insulation properties.
Excellent oxidation stability and cooling performance.
Excellent low-temperature fluidity.
